I currently work within Life Sciences for Charles River Laboratories, a contract Research Organisation, which is a global company focused on the development of medical treatments to enhance human and animal welfare. My remit covers all levels and professionals disciplines from Lab Science roles to all support functions including Admin, Finance, HR, IT, and Sales to name but a few.
I have been with CRL since Nov 2021 and was promoted into my ciurrent role in March 2025.
I lead the Education Committee for Scotland, co-ordinate the Academic engagement across the UK & Ireland and lead on a number of key DE&I initiatives.
Prior to my current tenure I have worked in:
Hospitality - Operations / HR / H&S roles in properties from 3 star to 5 Red star.
HR Consultancy (Business Owner) - Working in all three sectors (Public, Private and Third) and across multiple industries. (Finance, Retail, Construction, Leisure, Estate Agency, Manufacturing, etc..)
I have led teams from two to twenty two. Recruited across continents and am a voracious networker.
